As I’ve promised, now part 2 of the story why I’ve been keen on apple products since January 21st, 2011:
Soon after buying a HD7 I had to recognize that I couldn’t get all the same apps I have seen in the app store. 🙁
The biggest lack was the missing mobile navigation: Neither tomtom nor navigon had an app for the HD7 (ok, there have been the Telekom select navigon version, but I’m not a T-com customer…).
Everybody told me that it is only a matter of time until the Windows Phone 7 Versions of navigon and tomtom will be available…
So I asked myself why not calling tomtom and ask them. I wrote an email and after a couples of days I got the disappionting answer that they are not planning to design a Windows Phone 7 version!
I was really frustrated, but I had been so clever to buy the HD7 via amazon. There you got the possibility to send things back within a period of 30 days!
On the next day, it was January 21st, 2011, I went straight to my favorite electronic shop and I bought right away my first apple product in my entire life: an iPhone 4!
It was exactly 11:49 a.m. when I started to become a big apple fan… 🙂
