iCloud push subscribed calendars: Delete subscription

iCloud icon 120x120Subscribed calendars are pushed from Mac to iPhone and iPad via iCloud. If you’ve subscribed to a calendar using the Calendar app in macOS 10.13 High Sierra, macOS 10.12 Sierra, Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan, Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks or Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, or the iCal app in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, you can use iCloud to push your subscribed calendars to all of your Macs and iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch).

Subscribed calendars can only be hidden within the calendar app, but cannot be deleted there. In iOS 8, iOS 9, iOS 10 and iOS 11, subscribed calendars are removed in ‘Settings’. Further more, a detailed Apple support document for iOS calendar app is missing. There is only a documentation for iCloud calendar subscriptions on Mac OS X.

iOS 8 iconLearn how to remove a contact from a group on iPhone and iPad running on iOS 8, iOS 9 and iOS 10 without completely deleting the contact. The iOS 8 (also iOS 9 and iOS 10) contacts app does not really have the direct feature to just remove a contact from a specific group. Hence, removing a contact from a group on iPhone and iPad must be done in other ways. Either you do a more or less uncomfortable work-around in the native contacts app on iOS 8 / iOS 9 / iOS 10 / iOS 11, or you are using third-party apps like ‘Simpler Contacts – Pro‘ for this. For iCloud contacts only, you can remove an iCloud contact from a single group on iCloud.com (Mac and Windows PC). The contacts are then synced with your iPhone or iPad via iCloud.

Update: How To Set Up WhatsApp Web On iPad And Mac
WhatsApp iconWhatsApp on iPad without jailbreak was working on iOS 7 and iOS 8 up to version 2.11.8. But now, WhatsApp 2.11.8 apparently expired, meaning the app certificate is not valid anymore. Hence, you cannot install WhatsApp 2.11.8 on your iPad or your iPod touch. Furthermore, WhatsApp versions higher than 2.11.8 have never worked on iOS 8. The reason for this is seemingly a checkup folder created while installing WhatsApp on the iPhone which cannot be copied onto the iPad due to root limitations of a non-jailbreaked iPad.
