Fixing ‘Cannot Connect MacBook To iPhone Via Bluetooth’

Apple bluetooth logo 128x128Learn how to fix the issue ‘cannot connect MacBook to iPhone via bluetooth’. If you try for the first time to connect and pair your new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air or MacBook 12 inch to your iPhone (5, 5S, SE, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, iPad air, iPad Pro) or any iOS device via bluetooth tethering, you probably got the message ‘Connection unsuccessful’ and ‘your MacBook’s name‘ is not supported’ on your iOS device and ‘Network is unavailable’ on your MacBook. I bet, you had already set up a Personal Hotspot on your iOS device before. And that’s the source of the problem. I will show you the fix in the following.

How To Set Up WhatsApp Web On iPad And Mac

WhatsApp iconLearn how to set up Whatsapp Web on iPad, iPad air and Mac. WhatApp Web is working without jailbreak on iOS 8, iOS 9, iOS 10, Mac OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite, Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and macOS 10.12 Sierra. In the past, WhatsApp on iPad without jailbreak was working on iOS 7 and iOS 8 up to version 2.11.8. But then, WhatsApp 2.11.8 apparently expired, meaning the app certificate was not valid anymore. Hence, you could not install WhatsApp 2.11.8 on your iPad, iPad air or iPod touch anymore. Furthermore, WhatsApp versions higher than 2.11.8 have never worked on iOS 8 due to root and folder limitations of a non-jailbreaked iPad.

How To Delete ‘Other’ Space on iPhone And iPad

iTunes12.2 iconLearn how to delete ‘Other‘ space on iPhone and iPad running on iOS 8, iOS 9, iOS 10 or iOS 11. ‘Other’ storage can claim a huge amount of your iPhone or iPad storage. The ‘Other’ data is very often full of Safari bookmarks, text-message or email attachments and calendar entries (for more information see Apple’s support document for ‘Other’ space on Mac). Deleting all caches on your iPhone or iPad will free up some amount of the ‘Other’ space. However, if you restore your iPhone from your iCloud or iTunes backup, you will gain much more free space again.
