iTunes 11.4 is perfectly running on Windows 8.1 update, as well as on Windows 8. iTunes 11.4 was released on September 9, 2014, including the ability to sync your favorite music, movies, and more to devices with iOS 8. iTunes installation crashes can be fixed following the workarounds already described for iTunes 11.X. iTunes 11.4 is installed and working on my Acer Aspire 1810T, running on Windows 8.1 update with Windows 8 Media Center installed.
