I had to completely re-install OpenPlex after removing all old PlexConnect files including backup. It seems that all security settings were brought back to default with the beta 2 update.

All you need for making Apple TV 4 screenshots and video screen captures is the Quick Time Player and an USB-C to USB cable. In contrast to other tutorials, for the following one you do not need a developer tool like Xcode on Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan, macOS 10.12 Sierra and macOS 10.13 High Sierra.
